Live2Lead is an annual leadership event developed by Maxwell Leadership (Atlanta, Georgia) that brings world-renowned leaders and experts together to share their insights and principles on leadership in order to drive growth personally and professionally.

Doug Meyer

Doug Meyer is CEO and co-founder of Brixey & Meyer, Inc. With Doug’s leadership, Brixey &
Meyer was recently recognized as the Fastest Growing CPA Firm in the United States and
Canada. The firm is also an eleven-time award winner of Best Places to Work, a winner of the
Fast 25 Growing Company award, and a Winner for the Business of the Year Program.
Additionally, Doug is a past 40 Under Forty winner and recently inducted as a Hall of Fame
member.
Doug is also co-founder and Partner of Brixey & Meyer Capital. Brixey & Meyer Capital is a lower middle market private investment firm located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Since its founding, BMC has closed fourteen investments and raised $220 million in committed capital to invest in lower
middle-market companies. Brixey & Meyer Capital currently manages five different platforms
across a variety of industries.
As CEO, Doug serves as a trusted business advisor to Business Owners, CEOs, CFOs and
Boards of Advisors. He works closely with those leaders in the areas of mergers & acquistion,
deal structure, succession & ownership planning, strategic planning, and compensation
planning.
Doug also serves as a valued board member for various closely held businesses. A variety of
organizations regularly request Doug speak to their group regarding the ever-changing business
landscape. His focus is deal structure and exit planning. Doug’s entrepreneurial passion has
resulted in his equity ownership of multiple privately held organizations. Prior to founding Brixey
and Meyer in 2002, Doug worked with the international consulting firm of Ernst & Young LLP.
Fun fact about Doug, he has visited every major league baseball park with his son.

Sandra Brasington

Sandra Brasington is the Western Ohio Regional Liaison for Governor Mike DeWine, appointed when he
took office in 2019 covering 13 counties in the Miami Valley. In this role, she is the link between the
administration and military, local business leaders, elected officials, non-profits and community groups to
meet the economic, business and local opportunities throughout the region. She is an effective leader
who thrives on bringing individuals together to solve challenges. Sandra previously worked for Ohio
Governor, John Kasich and Auditor, Betty Montgomery.
With over 20 years of state and local government experience, Sandra brings the knowledge of being an
elected official as well as private sector experience together to positively impact the community. Her
knowledge and passion began over 40 years ago while working with the Air Force, the American Red
Cross, and local communities both stateside and abroad. She has continued to be involved in
numerous organizations both locally and statewide that champion and support our state, coordination
with our Faith based and community initiatives, and our military/veteran communities.

Keith Hawk

Keith Hawk is a lifelong Sales Professional who has spent most of his career in senior Sales leadership roles, most notably over a decade as the Senior VP of Sales for a 1,000+ salesforce in LexisNexis, a major information company. He is a frequent speaker on topics including the Consultative Sales process, Leadership, Principled Negotiations, Incentive Compensation plans, and Performance Metrics.

Keith is the co-author of the popular business book GET-REAL SELLING. The central theme of his book is the concept that the success of a true Sales professional can only follow the success of his/her customer. That a sales professional is literally in the business of discovering how to make his/her customer more successful. Hawk details the three principal ways that a salesperson can add value to his/her customer’s business.

In addition to his own speaking, Keith occasionally does corporate engagements with his son AJ Hawk, (11-year veteran NFL linebacker and Super Bowl champion), on “The Athletic Organization,” where they mix Keith’s career as a Fortune 500 senior leader with AJ’s experiences in the wild world of NFL football.

Marcy Walker

Marcy Walker is the MInistry Coordinator at Declare. Some of her passions include faith, family, food, and fitness. She is also very passionate about the City of Dayton. “I love my hometown Dayton and want to see it prosper and develop into the “Gem City'' it was once proclaimed to be.” Out of these passions she founded Mission: Fit Dayton, which is a free fitness community that encourages healthy bodies and healthy communities through fun family friendly group workouts, discipleship, healthy eating and community service opportunities. She is a graduate of Central State University class of 2008, the City of Dayton’s Neighborhood Leadership Institutes class of 2018 and Parity Inc’s Black Leadership Program class of 2022. Marcy is the proud mother to sons Nicolas and Eric Collier and honorary son D’Marco Shaw who she had the pleasure of pouring into through the Bridges program which is a program available to young adults once they age out of foster care, and grandmother to D’Marco’s daughter Imiliah!

Corwin Anthony

Corwin currently serves as the Chief Ambassador Officer (CAO) for Athletes in Action (AIA). AIA is the world’s largest International sports ministry with staff serving in 66 countries worldwide. In the US, AIA has staff serving on over 225 college campuses and 61 professional sports teams.

As one of four VP’s for AIA, Corwin sits on the Executive Leadership Council providing leadership for the overall direction and strategy towards AIA’s mission to build spiritual movements everywhere through the platform of sport.

Corwin attended UCLA on a football scholarship in the late 80’s. He graduated with an Economics degree and went on to play very briefly in the NFL with the LA Rams, NY Jets and Green Bay Packers.

In 1996 Corwin joined the staff of Promise Keepers where he served in the Field Ministry Division for 4 years helping churches establish and grow their men’s ministry. In February of 2000, Corwin and his wife, Kim, joined Athletes in Action to serve as chaplains for the Miami Dolphins until 2010.

From 2008 - 2021 Corwin added the role of Executive Director of Pro ministries with AIA, where he led the chaplaincy positions of 18 NFL teams and worked with NFL Owners, Coaches and Executives across the US while providing ministry services at the Senior Bowl, Pro Bowl, Combine and the annual NFL Owners meetings.

Corwin and his wife, Kim, a UCLA HOF Gymnast, travel the country speaking to student athletes, church groups and corporate executives. For the past 20 years they’ve lead marriage enrichment sessions at the annual NFL Owner’s meetings. In 2021 Corwin and Kim joined the speaking team for Family Life’s “Weekend to Remember” marriage conferences

Since 2007 Corwin has been serving as the Program Coordinator for the NFL sanctioned, Super Bowl Breakfast which features the presentation of the Bart Starr award to a current NFL athlete who has demonstrated Character, Leadership and Integrity in the home, on the field and in the community. Past recipients of the Bart Starr award include Peyton Manning, Demario Davis, Ben Watson, Eli Manning, Drew Brees, Russell Wilson and more.

In March 2023, Corwin agreed to step into the role of Executive Director of the Super Bowl Breakfast where he now gives overall leadership to AIA’s largest annual outreach.

Corwin and his wife, Kim, reside in Centerville, OH and have been married since 1992. They have two adult sons who are the joy of their lives.

Molly Spearman

The legacy of hard work, public service, family, and faith has shaped Molly Spearman’s life and career. Molly Mitchell Spearman recently retired as the 18th State Superintendent of Education in South Carolina, having served 8 years from 2015-2023. Her career spanned 18 years as a public-school music teacher, member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, Director of Governmental Affairs for the Department of Education, and Executive Director of the South Carolina School Administrators Association. Recently, she became an Ambassador for the John Maxwell Leadership Foundation and now spends her time introducing iLead – a student-led values-based leadership resource-- to schools and communities across the United States. Her mission is to positively transform our future by helping adults and young people, focusing on basic values and talking around the table.

She holds a BA in Music Education from Lander University, a Masters from George Washington University, and an Education Specialist Degree from the University of South Carolina.

She is married to Bill, mother to Katie and Mitchell, and grandmother to Molly Brooke and Marilyn. Her passion is enjoying family, nature, and spreading the Golden Rule…. treat others as you wish to be treated. She and Bill split their time on their family farm in Saluda, South Carolina and near the grands in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Jimmy Phillips

Jimmy Phillips serves as chief strategy officer for Kettering Health, overseeing strategic planning, business development, marketing and communications, outreach, community benefit, and government relations. Jimmy joined Kettering Health in 2019 from Adventist Health where he served as the regional marketing director for Southern California. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Union College and his Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University.
