Cristy Kettering

Cristy Kettering is a connector, activator, encourager, and coach who is deeply committed to helping leaders and nonprofit organizations grow in both capacity and impact. She is especially passionate about walking alongside organizations as they clarify vision, strengthen leadership, and fund their missions.
Grounded in a strong belief that faith-based organizations and nonprofits across all sectors make a profound and lasting difference in the world, Cristy has devoted this season of her career to supporting their success. She understands that the depth and reach of an organization’s impact are directly shaped by the strength of its leadership and its ability to adequately fund its mission.
Cristy brings together extensive experience in Christian ministry, Maxwell Leadership, nonprofit fundraising, education, marketing, and media. This broad background informs her conviction that organizations flourish when God-given passions and purposes are guided by collaborative leadership and the combined strengths of teams—board members, staff, volunteers, donors, consultants, and community influencers.
She is credentialed through NANOE as a Certified Nonprofit Consultant, Certified Development Executive, and Certified Nonprofit Executive and, also, serves as a Major Gifts Ramp-Up (MGRU) Senior Counselor, working with nonprofit clients in Ohio and across the United States to expand their mission through leadership development and major gifts fundraising.
Since 2015, Cristy has been a Maxwell Leadership Certified Coach, Trainer, and Speaker. Through her coaching, her role as the official host of Live2Lead:Dayton for 11 years, and her facilitation of Transformation Tables in the Greater Dayton-Springfield region and around the world, she has inspired and equipped thousands of leaders and organizations. Her work with Dr. John C. Maxwell and the Maxwell Leadership Foundation has taken her internationally to Paraguay, Costa Rica, Panama, and Argentina, as well as to Tupelo, Mississippi. She loves catalyzing Maxwell Foundation Community Transformation Tables in the Greater Dayton-Springfield Area, in which hundreds of local leaders have participated. Cristy was recently honored as a 2025 Maxwell Leadership Culture Award winner, in recognition of her local and global efforts.
A former educator, Cristy is also a passionate advocate for iLead, a values-based Maxwell Leadership youth program that partners with public schools and faith communities to help young people lead themselves effectively and then positively influence others. She, also enjoys serving on the Unify Dayton Core Team and on the Leadership Team for Women in Christian Leadership. In 2023, Women in Christian Leadership awarded her the Community Leadership Award in recognition of her Community Transformation impact.
Above all, Cristy finds her greatest joy in her faith, her husband Ken of more than 50 years, their adult children, and thirteen grandchildren.
Ken Kettering

Ken has over 30 years of professional experience in radio and television broadcasting, most noted for his time at WDTN-TV2 with Omar Williams and Dan Patrick, 14 years as a Fox45 news anchor and program host of “In The Area," and a recent 7-year stint in Christian radio at 93.7 The Light.
Ken's a Certified John Maxwell Coach and co-host of Live2Lead:Dayton. He uses his training and gifting to communicate and connect with and help people of all ages and backgrounds and truly believes, as John Maxwell teaches, that valuing and serving people and building strong, authentic relationships is the foundation of leadership and influence. He deeply values faith and family and also enjoys interviewing people, sharing stories, directing high school musicals, watching a good game, and laughing hilariously with family and friends.
Ken and Cristy have lived in the Dayton area for 48 of their 50 married years. They still enjoy doing life together in the Gem City with their four married kids and thirteen grandchildren.
